    My journey with alternative therapies began in my early twenties. Three years into a diagnosis with a chronic illness, I felt frustrated by a system that offered a lifetime of prescriptions that only addressed the symptoms. The prescriptions themselves caused more symptoms that required more prescriptions to fix them.  I felt trapped in a vicious cycle with no way out. After a particularly grim prognosis I had my first massage.
 A profound healing began to take place as I explored different avenues and attitudes towards healing and wellness. The different approaches taught me that there is a direct link between the mind and body when it comes to health. Fascinated by my own experience with alternatives therapies, I found a new direction in life. I began years of training in Reiki, massage therapy, CranioSacral therapy and yoga.
    Over the years I have worked with Autistic and special needs children, clients with chronic pain, conditions and illnesses, athletes and people who just needed help managing stress. I find blending different modalities allows me to customize each session, to address the individual needs of my clients. I enjoy assisting people in their own journeys towards balance and wellness.
